Aside from the remarkably tedious parade of athletes that felt like it took three days to finish, the opening ceremonies were very cool to watch. And that kinetic sun sculpture thing behind the cauldron was absolutely mesmerizing. No video, since NBC would sue me.

Surprising they didnt talk about any stuff regarding Russia. That was really crazy at least to me that the number of athletes was that high. like cmon you don’t think you would get tested?

I was watching the Latin American version of ESPN and they said like 100 out of the 300 total athletes from Russia didn’t go to Rio.
